Master Cleanse Restart: Day 10

Omg.. day 10 is here!!! 4 more days of lemonade!

Memorial Weekend... BBQs... My Best Friends Bday..... NUFF SAID!

Am i going to survive???????

I need all the support i can get!

I would feel so much more motivated if i seen the numbers on the scale going down faster! in 10 days i only lost 5lbs! I have never ever heard of someone not eating for 10 days and only losing 5lbs!!!!! what am i doing wrong? NOTHING!

idk why it's coming off so slowly. i am doing everything correctly, i'm NOT cheating, i drink my tea and my swf... i even tweaked my lemonade by putting less maple syrup! (less calories) idk but at this point i am feeling really, REALLY discouraged! I promised myself i would get up to 14 days though... so here goes nothing "/

Master Cleanse Restart: Day 6

My bff & i were acting a fool after a very great work-out session! We did some shimmy and bollywood dance :) talk about FUN TIMES!

Omg you guys.... I only lost 3lbs. so far! I am going to tweak my juice tomorrow! Less maple syrup and no salt water flush. That salt water makes me retain water, and feel bloated! Even though I'm not on this cleanse just for the weight loss I still would like to SEE some results not only feel! 9 more days and I'm finished! It's not that I can't wait until this is over because I cant take it anymore, I just cant wait until this is over because I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MYSELF! The end results!

This has been some ride.... my "getting healthy, losing weight journey" I lost 50lbs in total since I had my daughter 8 months ago. My goal was to be smaller than I was before I got pregnant..... ACCOMPLISHED.

I can't wait to post up my before and after pics so you guys can have a better idea of my journey... the ups and downs of it all. I lost and gained throughout the process, but NEVER gave up.

Whatever you have your mind set upon keep your eyes on the prize! Visualize the end results!
I like trying on clothes and seeing what fits, what doesn't, and what will!

Master Cleanse Restart!

Finally found it in me to start the master cleanse once again! Like I said before.... I vow to ease out this time!!!! (seriously) lol.

A lot of ppl may think that it's easier for people that have fasted before to start this cleanse.. I don't think that's true at all. It was much easier for me to start the first time around!

I kinda regret telling certain people about me cleansing! All the remarks about..... Why are you starving yourself?? ...Your body cleanses itself... blah blah effing BLAH! Do your homework before you start passing remarks...........GOSH! Or just say you don't know anything about cleansing/fasting and let someone that is much more educated on the topic teach you a thing or two and open up ur CLOSED mind!!!!

Our bodies do have many ordinary modes of achieving elimination such as our lungs, liver, colon, kidneys etc. BUT when these are overloaded our body will resort to "extra ordinary" methods of elimination... such as, boils, mucous, and other discharges, sweat, vomiting, diarrhea, and many others. Should elimination become impossible or uneconomical of body energy, the toxic overload will go into storage forms in the joints, vessels, muscles, organs; almost any tissue in the body!

So you see... fasting/cleansing is very important. It is not to be used for weight loss; although weight loss is a nice "FAT" bonus hahahaha! ...but seriously, cleansing your body is a great way to rid yourself of addiction to coffee.. smoking.. junk..etc. it gets all those toxins out of your body and gives you tons of willpower! A nice jump start to a healthier lifestyle, and a rest that your body will defiantly thank you for!

I'm not gonna lie, sometimes i do feel like scarfing down a doughnut or a slice of pizza..... but overall i only crave healthy foods, i drink a lot more water and i think before i put anything into my body. I don't just eat because i know that it's gonna taste amazing (anymore)

I felt so good while on the master cleanse.. can't wait to get to days 4-6 those days i felt the best!

ummm... idk y i feel like I'm leaving something out of this blog. if it comes to me... I'll be back tonight, if not... I'll post another blog sometime tomorrow!

day 3 here i come "/ not feeling too strong right about now especially with my boyfriend eating curry shrimp right now..............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Master Cleanse: Update

Haven't posted a blog in about a week.. & there is much to talk about!

I got up to 10 days on my cleanse! Yaayyy me!

I did want to go up to 14... but hey 10 was still good right?

It was my first Mothers Day & I wanted to have dinner with my family.... and that was the day that I broke my cleanse.

.....& it all went down hill from there! As soon as I started eating again it was over for me! I did not ease out of the cleanse like I was suppose to, I just started eating regularly. Which was BAD BAD BAD!

I lost a total of 15lbs on the cleanse then gained back 6! Now, I know I was suppose to gain back some water weight, but i gained back that weight sooo fast! I am not doing my body good right now. Its like as soon as i started eating i went on a binge! BAD BAD BAD!

So, I've decided that I will do the Master Cleanse over, the RIGHT WAY! I will ease off of it, and not make any excuses. One of the main purposes of the cleanse is to boost your willpower, and curb cravings for junk! I went right into eating junk....... BAD BAD BAD GIRL! hahaha

I've been trying for the past 3 days to start the cleanse over with NO LUCK! So, I decided to write this blog.... maybe I'll even make a video on my youtube channel...... it worked for me when I was on it before, so hopefully if I get the same support this time around again it would be easier for me to start!....

This is actually the hardest part for me... STARTING! ....But once I get that ball rolling.... I'M GOOD! Just gotta get it rolling! The support I get from youtube is amazing, and watching other peoples videos really do help a lot. So, if your thinking about starting this cleanse.... and just can't seem to start I recommend:

1. reading my blog :)

2. watching youtube videos (including mine) :)

3. think about the end results

4. have a positive attitude

5. keep in mind.. food will still be there when you get off

6. make your own videos or take pictures of yourself everyday so YOU can see the difference over time.

7. be patient

I too am going to take my own advice, it's not going to be easy especially with all the great food and smells all around me... but at this point I need to do this for myself!

Nobody can do the cleanse for me!

Master Cleanse Day 6

Hello!!! Day 6 you guys... really... WOW!

I will NOT be chewing gum...........just brushing a whooole lot! haha

So yesterday I had a lot of running around to do. (and yes i still made time to work out go meee!)

If you aren't someone who already has an exercise routine or experienced with cleansing, I do not recommend starting one while on the master cleanse. the weight will still come off, exercise or not. Well I shouldn't say that you shouldn't exercise at all.... walking and yoga is great to do! Actually yoga is REALLY great to do! I love yoga, it puts you in a really great place.

After the cleanse is the real challenge.. Actually keeping the weight off, that is when you should start exercising, weight training to get yourself nice and toned.

I defiantly have a lot of energy and my work outs are even better than before! Which is really weird because you would think not eating would make you feel weak and sluggish.

This cleanse is very rewarding, go for it! If I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT! xo

Master Cleanse Day 3

Hey everyone! I'm at the end of day 3 of my master cleanse. The first three days are the most difficult, so I'm really really looking forward to tomorrow... DAY FOUR!

I'm in stage 2 of my detox!

Here's what's going on during this time....

Stage 2 (Day 3 To Day 7) Fats, composed of transformed fatty acids, are broken down to release glycerol from the gliceride molecules and are converted to glucose. The skin may become oily as rancid oils are purged from the body. People with problem-free skin may have a few days of pimples or even a boil. A pallid complexion is also a sign of waste in the blood. Ketones are formed by the incomplete oxidation of fats. It is suspected that the ketones in the blood suppress the appetite by affecting the food-satiety center in the hypothalamus. You may feel hungry for the first few days of the fast. This effect is temporary. The desire to eat will disappear. Lack of hunger may last 40 to 60 days, depending on whether you are on water or juice.

The body embraces the fast and the digestive system is able to take a much-needed rest, focusing all of its energies on cleansing and healing. White blood cell and immune system activity increases. You may feel pain in your lungs. The cleansing organs and the lungs are in the process of being repaired. Periodically, the lymphatic system expels mucoid matter through the nose or throat. The volume excreted of this yellow-colored mucus can be shocking. The sinuses go through periods of being clogged, then will totally clear. The breath is still foul and the tongue coated. Within the intestine, the colon is being repaired and impacted feces on the intestinal wall start to loosen.

The coating on the tongue is extremely annoying I'm constantly brushing! I wish I could chew a piece of gum! ....If I did decide to chew gum, what's the worse that could happen??
